Confirmed Speakers
Posted by TEDxCMU Team - March 2, 2010 at 10:56 amFor the last month, the TEDxCMU team at Carnegie Mellon University has been working very hard to piece this event together, and we’ve been simply blown away by the response we’ve received from our fans. Thanks for all your support, we’re doing our very best to ensure that TEDxCMU lives up to your expectations. A quick reminder, ticket registrations open in about 24 hours, check back tomorrow at 11:30am EST and make sure you apply for your ticket.
Now, I finally get to share some of the speakers who are confirmed for the event, and hope that you’re as excited about this as I am. This is just the start, we will be announcing more speakers as we get closer to the conference. In keeping with our theme, we asked our speakers what being fearless means to them, and here’s what they had to say. For complete bios, check out the Speakers page. So here they are, the first four speakers for TEDxCMU:

He is widely recognized for re-imagining, examining, and redefining the intersection of art and popular culture through still and moving pictures. His recent push into personal work and fine art has rapidly gained the attention of curators and art critics, mainstream audiences, and celebrity circles worldwide. Being fearless means “having a willingness to embrace success and failure on the same terms.”
